Is MoneyTree really free?

Yes. Every feature is completely free with no ads, no accounts, no sign-in, and no in-app purchases. We don't collect or sell any of your data.

Do I need an account to use the app?

No. MoneyTree works entirely on your device. There's nothing to sign up for and no login required.

Is my data stored online?

No. All your data — saved scenarios and calculator inputs — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers. If you delete the app, your data is removed.

How do I move my saved scenarios to a new device?

Because data is stored on-device, saved scenarios don't automatically transfer. You can export any scenario as a PDF, CSV, image, or text file from inside the app and send it to yourself, then re-enter the inputs on your new device.

How accurate are the calculations?

MoneyTree uses standard financial formulas with monthly compounding for growth calculations and standard amortization for loans. Results are for illustrative purposes and should not replace professional financial advice.
